Our Why
As a grassroots organization started in late July 2020, we have now grown into a coalition of thousands of people committed to preserve the quality of life which makes the Upper West Side precious to us all. We refuse to accept that nothing can be done to save our neighborhood. West Side Community Organization seeks to bring our plight to the attention of our elected officials and government leaders. Our politicians must hear their constituents concerns.
While we diligently advocate for our community’s safety and public health, we must commit our collective resources to a coordinated and effective effort. With your help to accomplish these vital goals, we can increase our efforts to make our neighborhood safe and to restore our quality of life.
